The Inn at Penn Station hotel, a restoration of the office space above the downtown Baltimore train station, has been awarded $8.1 million in Recovery Bond money to create a 77-room boutique hotel, partnered with Amtrak SpringHill Suites and Conference Center, a mixed use development project, is across from the Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and near the Washington Hospital Center. Scheduled to open in 2012. |
